In 2024, our English Labrador puppies price begins at $6500 and increases from there. When people ask why our English Labs cost so much, we give three answers:

2. We don’t just sell puppies. We join your family in our comprehensive program from start to finish. Our professional training is a very important part of what we offer.

3. Our owners, kennel staff, lead team, and state-of-the-art facility are here for you and your dog throughout its entire life. When you purchase one of our pups, you and our team embark on a forever relationship that we take very seriously.

Over the years we have had so many people place deposits after we have worked tirelessly to produce their puppy and then back out. Most people simply are not aware of the extensive work that goes into raising a litter of puppies. With the rising costs of veterinarian bills, surgical implants and C-sections, as well as the labor involved in raising a litter, we desire to be in relationships with only very serious Labrador buyers. We typically see the wait time of 6 months to a year for our pups and most are paid for before they are even born. The demand for a Smoky Mtn Labrador puppy is beyond anything we would have ever believed.

Sales tax may apply, depending on the state in which you live. Once we receive your payment, we put you on our active Smoky Mtn Labrador waiting list, and after that, we communicate regularly with you while you wait for your pup. We pride ourselves on excellent communication, and you will never feel you are alone throughout the process. Remember, Your payment is non-refundable.

No, Smoky Mtn Labradors has a non-refundable policy once a a puppy has been purchased. There is only one exception to this policy, and that has to do with any potential failed medical examinations of your puppy at your veterinarian office within the first 7 days of arriving at your home. One of the things that set us apart is that all of our puppies here at Smoky Mtn Labradors have been thoroughly examined by our own veterinarian before we even begin to show you pictures or even before the selection of your puppy. We have found that this process eliminates any disappoint for your family. Only once a puppy has been returned to us upon failing an exam will a refund be issued. Below is more information concerning the health examination process: (Smoky Mtn Never refunds any part of the Training) Our trainers are independent from our kennel. Please review their contract extensively.

Initial Health Exam - In order for the health warranty to be valid, the purchaser agrees to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian within 7 working days of the transfer. If at that time the puppy is diagnosed with an existing medical problem, the puppy may be returned for a full refund. If requested by the Breeder, the purchaser must provide the Breeder with an evaluation from a second veterinarian of the Breeder’s choice at the Breeder’s expense prior to any payment. Smoky Mtn. Labradors must be informed immediately of the initial vet examination by email at gene@smokymtnlabradors.com. If we do not receive notice of the vet examination, all guarantees are no longer valid.

If the buyer’s vet establishes a major problem with the puppy upon initial examination, which would identify any genetic illness, then the buyer should initiate a claim for the puppy. At the buyer’s expense, the buyer should return the puppy to the seller if the seller requests so to be done. There is a very specific protocol for this - please contact our office immediately. Due to Parvo Virus and Kennel Cough running rampant at veterinarian offices, local pet stores , and road side rest areas around the country, Smoky Mtn Kennels is not liable for this disease.

4. AKC limited registration documentation which means the puppy cannot be bred or shown

5. The puppy’s litter is registered with the AKC, but each individual puppy must be registered by you, the new owner

Smoky Mtn Labrador Guarantee:

We guarantee all of our puppies to pass all the appropriate healthcare clearances on their hips and elbows or we will replace the puppy with another of the same quality for free. We do not refund any money - we only replace the puppy. We will always take one of our puppies back so it can have a quality life. There is a specific protocol if this becomes the case.

The Smoky Mtn Labrador family is serious about protecting the health of our puppies. That’s why we do not allow puppy buyers to visit the litter prior to their designated pick-up times. But we won’t leave you in the dark. We will send you photos of the litter at the appropriate time so you can view the progress of your pup after its 9 – 10 week veterinarian check.
